HOSPITAL PLAYLIST (Original Television Soundtrack)

The K-drama Hospital Playlist had eyeballs glued for its plotline about five medical professionals who are also band members, navigating life and its attendant complications while working in a hospital. The soundtrack, meanwhile, had ears pricked for its sublime pop moments (JEON MI DO’s “I Knew I Love,” Cho Jung Seok’s “Aloha”) and star contributions. Sentimental tracks by Red Velvet’s Joy (“Introduce Me a Good Person”), MAMAMOO’s Whee In (“With My Tears”), and SUPER JUNIOR’s KYUHYUN’s “Confession Is Not Flashy” raise already elevated blood pressures (Lee Ik Jun and Chae Song Hwa need to boo up, agreed?). The cast band Mido and Falasol get their shot too, on “Me to You, You to Me.” The remake of Jatanpung’s folk song appeared in the 12th episode and—spoiler alert!—revealed a second season.
