You needn’t have heard much Pressa music to be able to distinguish his voice from his peers. High and nasally, Pressa’s flow stands out wherever it appears, and especially on collaborations like the ones featured on his Gardner Express (Deluxe). Here, he’s trading bars with Coi Leray (“Attachments [Remix]”), Swae Lee (“Cool, Calm & Collected”), and Rowdy Rebel (“Dead Bodies”), all of whom have been known to steal a scene or two, but take nothing from the young Toronto MC when he’s in his bag. It’s a place he finds himself consistently across the seven songs of the deluxe version, rapping about the difference between himself and other T-Dot rappers (“Chocolate Audemar”), who he was before rap (“Beenie”), or just going off for the love of the game (“50 Wass Bars”).
