“The morning in the Kalimantan canyons of Borneo bring the first birdsong of the day,” says audio naturalist Martyn Stewart, aka The Listening Planet, setting the stage for the start of the day in Borneo, the largest island in Asia. “The deep ravines echo the distant sound of water crashing from the canyon walls. Gibbons with their whooping calls break the morning air. Noisy cicada and various birds of the canyon sing their melodies.”
