Best known for his extensive work with SoCal rappers Kottonmouth Kings, D-Loc (a.k.a. D-Double Dash and DJ Shakey Bonez) has spent the better part of two decades recording songs almost exclusively about the wonders of the West Coast. Though not as huge as likeminded acts Cypress Hill or Insane Clown Posse, the Kings do have a gigantic following of fans who keep the band busy putting out new music and touring the world. Weedman is the first solo offering from MC Dustin Miller. It’s a seven-track EP featuring jangly-but-catchy beats, squiggly keyboards, and hyper-repetitive rhymes. The remaining Kottonmouth Kings guest on "From the Kings." Highlights include the Dre-and-Snoop-esque "Pass That" and the mellow closer "Burn It Down."
