It’s practically law that every rock band must hit the country at some point, and so it is with the Pretty Reckless’ third album, which finds Taylor Momsen romping through a swamp of sweltering southern jams. The conversion suits her husky yowl down to the dirt, as she finds herself an outsider, strutting about being an outlaw on crossroads number “Take Me Down”, and wishing she could get back to the innocence of youth on the rollicking “Oh My God”.
