Cranking their sludgy riffs into a speedy blur, Los Nastys tap into the same noisy mix of '60s garage and '70s metal that powered early grunge heroes like Mudhoney. While they're capable of crushing grooves played at wall-shaking volume ("El Diablo"), the Spanish group is more interested in bashing it out with a ferocious sense of punk-inspired fun ("Malditos al Nacer"). And even when this unruly crew tries to be straight-up catchy, they can't help slathering their singalong psych-pop ballads ("Los Autos Locos") and bouncy alt-rock anthems ("Tú Me Haces") in gnarly feedback.
