Israel Antônio Ribeiro and Rodolffo Matthaus da Silva Rios followed in the musical footsteps of their fathers, Antônio and Juarez respectively, who performed sertanejo as a double act and would occasionally have their boys join in. Israel & Rodolffo recorded their first demo in 1999 and later in their teens launched what’s been a prolific career as a duo, bringing their deep harmonic understanding and sweeping rhythms to mammoth hits like “Batom De Cereja” and “Só de Sacanagem”—as well as huge collabs with the likes of Wesley Safadão and MC Matheuzinho.
