About Rapha Tex
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Rhythms in Rio shaped my childhood. Years later, inside Comfort Zone Toronto, I felt that pulse again—deeper, louder, hypnotic. That moment defined my sound and passion for underground music. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Carl Cox, Boiler Room: Carl Cox in Ibiza, Aug 15, 2013 (DJ Mix) Daft Punk, Get Lucky (feat. Pharrell Williams & Nile Rodgers) [Daft Punk Remix] Dubfire, Hybrid: A Decade of Dubfire 1. Daft Punk – Raw, gritty, timeless grooves that shaped house music forever. 2. Carl Cox – Pure energy and culture, made me fall in love with live DJ flow. 3. Dubfire – Dark, minimal, hypnotic, exactly the type of tension I love. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “I Feel So Good” I love “I Feel So Good” because it came together naturally, like the groove flowed on its own. It’s uplifting but still underground, driven by bass and rhythm. It always puts me in the zone. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? A milestone I’ll never forget was signing my first label deal — a dream turning real. Soon after, I reached 100K listeners on all digital platforms in less than a year, and that feeling of growth and connection was unforgettable. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to take my sound to clubs in Europe and South America, grow The CZ Records, and eventually play a sunrise set at a major festival. There’s still a lot I want to build.
