the greatest album of all time

Though many of her proclamations are tongue-in-cheek, it’s impossible to think Sophia Stel is anything less than very confident. Her proper full-length debut, the greatest album of all time, arrives on the heels of her 2025 breakthrough second EP, How to Win at Solitaire. With a cadence like this, it’s easy to see why she’s got plenty of self-assurance. And if it’s still not obvious, allow her to explain on the greatest album of all time. The album begins with the back-to-back hitters of “On My Dick” and “Molly in the Club” before Stel introduces “Bitches Talk Shit”, a delirious dance cut built around a refrain inspired by the song title and dizzying synths. Despite the declaration that bitches do, in fact, talk shit, Stel is still willing to hedge her bets—at least for the time being. “’Cause you’re a rock star, you should have a lot of money,” she sings, before adding: “’Course I am a pop star, but I’m still very up-and-coming.” Our Favourite Track: The pensive lyrical wandering and synth sirens of “Now I’ve Got a Lot You Know”.
