With the second chapter of his One Assassination Under God opus, Manson follows up 2024’s first chapter with more thinly veiled commentary on America’s cultural pugilism and the many adversaries who have tried to take Manson down. Like its predecessor, Chapter 2 was co-written and co-produced by Manson’s long-time collaborator and film-score maestro Tyler Bates. Reveling in their high-gloss melding of metal guitars, industrial dance beats and futuristic goth-glam, they strike black gold with the hypnotic earworm “Exit Wound”.
