The soundtrack to NOFX’s documentary 40 Years of Fuckin’ Up is a career retrospective boasting favourites from their 40-year lifespan alongside a handful of odds ’n’ sods. In addition to live versions of “Linoleum” and “NOFX”, the SoCal punk party crew include a demo version of their 2012 song “Secret Society”, a cover of the Mexican folk song “La Bamba” and a 1986 recording of “On the Road”. It’s topped off by two brand-new tunes, “40 Years of F****n’ Up” and the live song “We Did It Our Way”, recorded during and written specifically for their final show on 6 October 2024 in San Pedro, California. The second half of 40 Years… is the film’s orchestral score, written by NOFX vocalist/bassist Fat Mike.
