Dave Gibson, Justyn Pilbrow, Lani Purkis and Scotty Pearson came barrelling out of Auckland in the early ‘00s and straight to the top of the Kiwi charts with their agitated punk-pop smash Love & Disrespect. A reputation for shout-along good times on the live circuit culminated in the NZ Music Awards' Best Band title after Trouble In Paradise in 2005. "Baby Come On" annexed the mainstream living room in a phone commercial ahead of their self-titled third album. Pilbrow bowed out after the next Big Day Out and Elemeno P took a five-year break from shaking festival stages. But don't dream it's over. With Dave Goodison stepping in on guitar, they gave away a new song, "Slow Down Boy", in 2012.
