About Yi Lin Jiang

Yi Lin Jiang's international childhood has prepared him for the life of a touring musician. Jiang performed a Haydn concerto at age ten, having already won a competition for young pianists a couple of years earlier. He has won prizes in Germany and elsewhere for solo work and for chamber music, including one with his father, clarinetist Binwei Jiang. Yi Lin Jiang's first album, Masques, was released in late 2014 and featured solo works by Szymanowski, Scriabin, Debussy, and others. In 2020, Jiang founded the ANCLEF label, joining fellow pianist Jacopo Giovannini for the label's debut EP release, Philia. The label's first full-length album, IV·XXI (In Memoriam), was issued in 2021. Jiang and Giovannini teamed up again in 2024 for H2O, an album of four-handed piano transcriptions of works by Respighi, Rimsky-Korsakov, and Ravel.
