In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Navigating teenage angst led me to discover music's power. Picking up my first electric guitar gave me a way to release raw emotions and transform them into sound. That catharsis resulted in our early demo Hatespit, reimagined and released in 2025. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Low Roar, Once in a Long, Long While... MONO, Hymn to the Immortal Wind Anniversary Edition Steven Wilson, Grace for Drowning MONO’s Hymn to the Immortal Wind taught us pure emotion. Low Roar’s Once in a Long, Long While... inspired our Backwards album with its atmosphere. Steven Wilson’s Grace for Drowning shaped our approach to complex, atmospheric production. "VOLIA" means will/liberty—an atmospheric tribute to defenders, blending post-rock melodies and quiet gratitude instead of standard war tropes. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Our 2022 Backwards listening party at Alternatyva coffee shop in Odesa. Organized by our manager Ruslana, we paired the playback with an improvised acoustic set. The warm, intimate atmosphere made it an unforgettable night for us. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Despite the challenges of war in Ukraine, our goal is to return to regular live shows and keep releasing new music. We also aim to push creative boundaries through inspiring collaborations with artists who share our passion for atmospheric sound.
