About Nu Genea

Italian duo Nu Genea produce organic, vintage-sounding disco, funk, boogie, and house records which incorporate numerous international influences. Their first album, 2016's The Tony Allen Experiments, was a collaboration with the legendary Afrobeat drummer. They issued the highly acclaimed Nuova Napoli through their own NG Records in 2018, and followed it with Bar Mediterraneo (2022) and People of the Moon (2026).
