In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest memories is singing with my dad. I’d sit on his lap while he rested the guitar across mine, his arms wrapped around me as he played, and we’d sing together. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? CHVRCHES, Every Open Eye (Extended Edition) Porter Robinson, Worlds Taylor Swift, Midnights (3am Edition) While I draw inspiration from many kinds of artists, I’m most influenced by a wide spectrum of pop musicians. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Where We Started” I wrote Where We Started as both an ode and a promise to my art. It’s about the beauty of getting the chance to be a beginner. This song reminds me that there are always opportunities to start again and keep growing. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Walking onto the stage at Red Rocks to the biggest crowd I’d ever seen, performing all original music. I was so proud of that moment...and I still am. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Of course, there are still many things on my bucket list! Selling out a headline tour, playing an arena, and spending a summer performing at music festivals to name a few!
