In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I grew up listening to harmonies, hand-claps from church choirs and late-nite R&B radio with a touch of melodic prayer. Gospel gave me spirit, R&B gave me soul. The beat found me, and harmonies hooked me!
