Luca Ranieri

Luca Ranieri is one of Italy's leading string players. He is the longtime principal violist with the RAI National Symphony Orchestra and has appeared widely as a soloist with some of the world's leading conductors. Ranieri has recorded Bach's solo cello suites in a viola transcription. He has recorded for the Camerata, Brilliant Classics, and Dynamic labels, appearing on the latter on a recording of Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante for violin, viola, and orchestra, K. 364, in 2024.
