Adrian Crowley

Adrian Crowley is a Dublin-based singer/songwriter with an introspective, moody tone. Crowley's music is steeped in the folk traditions of the 1970s, calling to mind storytelling songwriters such as Leonard Cohen and Nick Drake, with a strong, often central emphasis on lyrics offered in a deep, fluid, crystalline baritone beginning on 1999's independently issued A Strange Kind. After working on four albums with co-producer and guitarist Stephen Shannon, Crowley enlisted Thomas Bartlett for 2017's Dark-Eyed Messenger and producer/multi-instrumentalist John Parish for 2021's The Watchful Eyes of the Stars. He later collaborated with folksinger Marry Waterson on 2024's Cuckoo Storm, then returned to solo work with 2025's inward-looking Measure of Joy.
