In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I can remember coming home from school almost everyday and writing and recording for hours in my room. I was pretty shy with talking to people but could really express myself through music and it always felt like a safe place to get my thoughts out. Tell us why you chose this song. “Centerfold” This was the first song I released where I let myself really dive into my pop sensibilities. Even though it's undeniably Pop, I had to still really push to be recognized as such solely because people would see my name and face and call it R&B What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My EP "The Way You See Me" be nominated for a JUNO award was huge! This was a project that was such a struggle to make happen as I had many doubters that I could do Pop music. I stuck to my vision and got resourceful to make that project happen.
