Ghost Iris

Denmark's Ghost Iris play a very technically advanced, progressive, melodically rich death metal, chock-full of hooky choruses enhanced by hard-grooving drums and a vocal approach that balances clean singing and sinister growling. The band offers a near perfect balance of djent and metalcore, and their 2015 debut, Anecdotes of Science & Soul, was the most streamed album in their country that year. The homegrown chart success of 2016's Blind World secured them a record deal with SPV's Long Branch label. 2019's Apple of Discord appeared to global acclaim and chart success. Comatose appeared in 2021 and featured a guest spot by Chimaira's Mark Hunter.
