In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a kid around 1992-1994 I remember staying up late to record the Club Z Saturday night party mix on Z95.3 in Vancouver. I fell in love with house music, and would try to track down the records they would play. I'm still hunting for some of them! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Cibo Matto, Viva! La Woman Deavid Soul, Sparkling Music These are three albums from different eras of my life that all taught me not to be limited in terms of style, that you could put together all kinds of sounds and references and make something totally new. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Gurl (feat. CreepP)” I sent this beat over to my friend CreepP and asked "could you just say 'gurl' a bunch of times over this?". They surprised me with a full rap verse! I think it turned out iconic, and it bangs on the dance floor. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Getting to DJ in Toronto at Anime North, where I met my partner, which led to me moving to Toronto! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? In 2023 I wish to produce, remix and collaborate with more queer artists, and would love to work with K-Pop artists too. My two dream collaborations would be Alex Newell and Red Velvet.
