Joy Division, Unknown Pleasures (2019 Digital Master) Remastered Various Artists, The Muppet Movie (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) X-Ray Spex, X-Ray Spex: The Anthology X-Ray Spex has the angst, Joy Division has the gloom, and The Muppets have the felt. They all prove that being an outsider—screaming at the world or singing about rainbows—is the only way to feel real. It’s all just beautiful, jagged yearning.
