Tilly Birds

With Western pop audiences of the late 2010s and early 2020s increasingly keyed into styles and acts in the J-pop and K-pop industries, it's not inconceivable for Tilly Birds, a three-piece band from Bangkok, Thailand, to have their day outside of their homeland. Their songs, including the generously streamed "Same Page?" (from debut full-length ผู้เดียว) and "Just Being Friendly" and "Until Then" (from follow-up It's Gonna Be OK), are engaging, romantic, affable pop/rockers that would have no problem fitting into a few American categories -- an idea furthered by the band itself, who recorded several projects in English as well as in their native language.
