Glen Wee

Recognisable for his raspy vocals, Glen Wee is an old soul. After getting his start on local singing competition The Final 1 at 19, the singer grew into his own sound marked by brass-and-choir arrangements, crunchy drawls and genre-bending melodies. Wee blends a myriad of influences, from folk to pop to R&B, creating a sound that is authentically and unmistakably him. His 2019 debut album Sounds in the City, inspired by time divided between Singapore and Melbourne, established the artist’s musical philosophy as both grounded and freewheeling.
