Amir Bresler

Drummer Amir Bresler is a celebrated -- and prolific -- session musician, bandleader, and composer from Israel based in Berlin. He is among the most sought-after Israeli drummers, having contributed to more than 80 recordings and worked live and in studio with Avishai Cohen, Daniel Zamir, Omer Klein, Veronika Morscher, Nitai Hershkovits, and many others. His original music weds modern jazz to funk, dub, Afrobeat, electronic dance grooves, and folk music styles from Israel and other global traditions. House of Arches, his imaginative leader debut, appeared in 2022 from Raw Tapes, as did the collaborative EP Rollin' 'til Late with Hershkovits and Nomok. With collaborators Klein and Haggai Cohen Milo, he issued Life & Fire for WEA in 2023. Bresler released the acoustic trio album Tide & Time in 2025, and followed with the very digital album See What Happens in February 2026.
