About Virzha
When you’re blessed with swagger, good looks and stunning vocals, you’re practically destined to be a star—and this was the case for Banda Aceh’s Virzha. Born Di Muhammad Devirzha in 1990, Virzha was first acquainted with the Indonesian public via the 2014 season of Indonesian Idol, placing third while winning over viewers with a rock-leaning choice of songs. This would later carry over to Virzha's own discography, which includes melodramatic rousers such as “Aku Lelakimu” and “Tentang Rindu”, tracks that quickly turned the artist into one of the top rock vocalists in the country. In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is singing alone in my room, discovering how my own voice could carry emotion. That moment made me believe music was part of who I am. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Keane, Hopes and Fears Phoenix, Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix My top three favorite albums are Hopes and Fears by Keane, Is This It by The Strokes, and Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix by Phoenix. Each one shaped my sound, blending emotion, energy, and melodies that never fade. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Kenali Utuh” One song I love is Kenali Utuh. It’s special because it captures a moment of spiritual reflection and healing, reminding me of the balance between struggle and peace. Every time I sing it, I feel whole again. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments in my career was holding my first solo concert. Standing on that stage, hearing the crowd sing my songs back to me, was a dream turning real and a memory I’ll carry forever. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to create more hits and bring them to life in my own solo concert. Sharing that journey with the audience is one of my biggest dreams still waiting to unfold.
