In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. A 2014 appearance at the Athfest festival in Athens, Georgia: Mike Mills from REM was there. We shared a beer afterwards. It was a great show and a memorable night early in our career. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Natalie” This is one of the few covers Grassland recorded. It's a Bruno Mars tune that Leanne Badia reworked, and John Keane (the brilliant Athens, Ga producer) engineered for the "Still Not A String Band" album. A killer song & Leanne's vocals are fire! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing festivals that included, to name a few, Greensky Bluegrass, Punch Brothers, Daniel Donato, Samantha Fish, Margo Price, Band of Heathens Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We have always wanted to do a show with Amy Ray and her band. On July 11, 2026 we open for her at the 40 Watt in Athens, Georgia!
