In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The morning I heard about Michael Jackson's passing. It hit me hard that I’d never have the chance to work with the greatest musician ever. My reaction shocked my parents and they bought me my first guitar and stayed in all week mourning Michael. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Beyoncé, Lemonade Black Coffee, Pieces of Me Lauryn Hill, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill Lauryn’s ability to profound writing skills has always inspired me in my own songwriting. My debut feature was on the this timeless album, Pieces Of Me. Lemonade blends of genres from R&B to rock and country keeps inspiring me to listen to. Tell us why you chose this song. “Find a Way” Neighbors kids, who had been hearing my attempts through the walls, ended up creating the hook without even realizing it! The song has done incredibly well since then. I'll be forever thankful for their unintentional but much-needed help!" What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing in front of hundreds of people for the first time at Joburg Theatre. The energy of the crowd and the sheer number of people were both overwhelming and exhilarating and that helped me see the impact my music can have on a large audience. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? All I dream about is making music with Childish Gambino. What a creative genius.
