In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember in class at school in 1988 when I would have been 12 years old, and we would listen to the radio as a class. Ship Of Fools by Erasure came on, which my Dad and I loved, and I was so happy that I could tell all my class. A classic track. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Depeche Mode, Violator (Deluxe) Bonus Tracks Edition Faith No More, Angel Dust Red Hot Chili Peppers, Blood Sugar Sex Magik I had never heard anything like Midlife Crisis when I first heard and I had to hear the entire album that was an eclectic wonder. Blood Sugar perfectly captures the bands live sound, and Violator was so atmospheric electro brilliance. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Meccano” Meccano is a hypnotic, dark ska infused rock song that builds to a huge crescendo of looping vocals about Jonny's dislike of the old children's toy. It is a crowd favourite and has phat drums, brooding bass and a heavy guitars. It has a huge sound. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing at the Open Air / AlterVision festival in Tbilisi, Georgia was a huge highlight for us. A massive crowd, headlining the Saturday night, excitement in the air. The crowd went wild and we also got up to lots of mischief whilst we were there! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To play Glastonbury and to perform on Jools Holland would be huge achievements for the band, other than that, to sell a million records would be nice!
