Flook

Innovative Anglo-Irish band Flook have maintained a signature sound since their formation in the mid-'90s. Using traditional Celtic music as a platform for their own dynamic compositions and arrangements, the band combines flutes, whistles, guitar, and bodhran to create a lively and distinctive blend. After debuting with 1996's Flook! Live!, they spent the next decade touring and releasing a series of independent studio albums, including Rubai and Haven. Flook temporarily disbanded in 2008, later re-forming to work primarily as a live act throughout the 2010s. They eventually returned to the studio as well, releasing 2019's Ancora, their first album in 14 years. Another album, Sanju, appeared in 2025.
