Swallow

British duo Swallow played a sensual, textural mixture of shoegaze and dream pop during the early '90s. They were right at home on 4AD, which issued their debut album Blow and companion release Blowback in 1992. A stripped-down, home-recorded EP titled Hush appeared on Rough Trade in 1994, but a full-length for the label was never finished, and the duo disbanded. Both members moved on to other projects, and the 2026 release Blown revisited the group's 4AD recordings.
