In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is from elementary school: a music class filled with piano, singing, and laughter. Before I understood music as an art or profession, I experienced it as something joyful and communal. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Celso Piña, Barrio Bravo Control Machete, Mucho Barato Los Cojolites, Sembrando Flores Together, these albums represent three foundations for me cumbia, traditional Mexican music, and hip-hop. Tell us why you chose this song. “Sierra Madre” I would highlight “Sierra Madre Remix” because it brings together the essence of my sound: Mexican roots, electronic production, and hip-hop with the energy of the dance floor. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing with my live band at Fusion Festival in Germany was one of the most memorable moments of my career. Bringing Mexican rhythms with electronic production, to an international audience made years of creative work feel fully alive. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to bring my live show to more stages around the world, collaborate with artists from different cultures, and keep creating music that connects Mexican roots with contemporary electronic sounds.
