About Cathy Segal-Garcia
One of the top jazz singers based in Los Angeles in the 1990s, Cathy Segal-Garcia has a beautiful voice and is an adventurous improviser, even when interpreting a well-known standard. After singing on the East Coast from the age of 12, she moved to L.A. in 1976, recorded CDs for her CSG label and the Japanese Koyo Sounds company, and has performed often in Japan and Europe. ~ Scott Yanow
