Years after she attempted to launch a solo career after splitting with identical twin sister Alex, Brit had an unexpected viral hit in 2024, thanks to JoJo Siwa excavating an old Brit tune called "Karma." Smith's original version, retitled "Karma's a Bitch," eclipsed Siwa's cover, pushing Brit back into the spotlight.
