Southern rapper Jay Lewis used the Internet to his advantage for his mixtape series, Dreams of Getting Rich, released between 2016 and 2018. Years later, two songs from the mixtapes -- “I Hope” and “Bag Season” -- went viral on TikTok and their popularity inspired him to start making music again.
