In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Seeing the video for Herbie Hancock's "Rockit" as a child, and being totally mesmerized by the instrumental and visual aspect of the video. The glitchy jerkiness of the drums were very exciting to me. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? A Tribe Called Quest, The Low End Theory Ed Rush, Optical, Wormhole F, Energy Distortion LP ATCQ "The Low End Theory" was formative, it was an early favorite when I was a young teen. Ed Rush & Optical's "Wormhole" is from my early 20s, and totally captured what I love about drum & bass. F's "Energy Distortion" is an often listened to fav. Tell us why you chose this song. “Metropolitan Hill” One of the driving motivations for my music is exploring ideas & sounds, trying to tap in to music I loved when I was younger. It is deeper than many of my other tracks, yet definitely my sound. Plus it is a nod to where I'm from & where I'm at now.
