In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The first musical memory I have is of running around the house, around four years old, singing "Gloria in Excelsis Deo." I just really loved that long melisma on "GLOOO-ria." Also at that age, I made up a song about getting in and out of the bath. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Big Thief, Masterpiece (2023 Remaster) Cécile McLorin Salvant, Ghost Song Fiona Apple, Fetch The Bolt Cutters Fiona Apple and Lenker always move me with their lyrics. Fetch The Bolt Cutters hit me in the gut at a moment of great change in my life. Salvant is just a badass. She has such an impressive command of vocal timbre and she uses it with humor! Tell us why you chose this song. “This Insatiable Love” I'm proud of the strange little poem I wrote for this song. It's misquoted everywhere. The last line is not "Come out with me," but "Come nap with me." What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing a sold-out show at Le Trianon in Paris with Kid Francescoli was an exciting moment in my career. After the show, I was told there was someone waiting to meet me backstage. My dad had surprised me by coming from Chicago to see me perform! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to tour in the U.S. with my own solo music! I used to live in France, and played all over Europe, but have never had a proper tour in my home country.
