In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember listening to lots of soft rock music during the 70s. My father enjoyed that music and it definitely influenced my musical background. Soft rock was very big on melody and how to develop that in chorus. Very memorable music. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Vince Guaraldi Trio, A Charlie Brown Christmas (Original 1965 TV Soundtrack) Expanded Edition Vince Guaraldi, It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown (Original Soundtrack Recording) [Deluxe Edition] Vince Guaraldi, Vince Guaraldi Quintet, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving (50th Anniversary Edition) I've listed these albums by Vince Guaraldi cause they represent my earliest introduction into jazz music. Guaraldi incorporated many different music styles into his music (something that greatly influenced me). Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Holiday (Instrumental)” I loved the feel and upbeat sound of this track. I wanted to create a song that would reflect what the rest of the album would encompass. Very latin with lots of influences. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I briefly entertained the idea of performing these songs as a trio. It sounded really good. But it was difficult to commit to requiring lots of time and effort from everyone. I hope to return to this idea of playing live. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I am working on a vocal Bossa nova album. Something I've been wanting to do for a long time and hope to finish it by the summer of 2026.
