In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was obsessed with playing every instrument as a kid. I discovered singing when I was 13. I would record myself sing, wanting to sound better.. Just like the K-pop singers, just like Mariah Carey.. I would record myself all day and night. Corinne Bailey Rae, Corinne Bailey Rae Madeleine Peyroux, Careless Love Norah Jones, Come Away With Me (Deluxe Edition) I remember driving my first ever car- a red Mazda 3, driving with my friends and just playing Corinne Bailey Rae to death. Representing Australia at Eurovision of course, and getting the most amazing reaction from the world. To play at the Royal Albert Hall. To tour the world with my own band.
