Diogenio Bigaglia

This Benedictine monk who was also an Italian composer wrote a number of oratorios wich were performed in Bologna, Rimini, Faenza and Venice. Unfortunately, most of his oratorios have been lost. The genres of Bigaglia's work include oratorios, masses, motets, cantatas, sonatas, and concertos. ~ Keith Johnson
