In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The first music that transported me was the score to Willow by James Horner. Hearing that magical flute soaring over lush strings felt like a million butterflies in my chest, and started my lifelong obsession with fantasy, Celtic-inspired music. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Become the Beast” This song was a turning point for me creatively. I’d always been drawn to darker themes, but this was the first time I fully embraced them in both my songwriting and performance, and seeing listeners connect so deeply with it was incredibly special. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My most memorable moment was creating The Legend of Anne Bonny. It felt like everything clicked at once. I had the perfect muse, story and audience for it. I was completely in creative flow from start to finish, and I just loved everything about it. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I've always wanted my music to feature in a really cool, geeky movie or a TV series. Think 'Game of Thrones' or 'Interview With The Vampire' or something. If a cool TV show asked me to write and sing something for them, I'd be in heaven.
