Kembe X

Kembe X is a Chicago-born, Los Angeles-based rapper who addresses subjects such as mental health struggles and relationships with his vulnerable, introspective lyrics. His music is an experimental, sometimes nostalgic fusion of trap, soul, and conscious rap. Throughout his career, he's collaborated with kindred spirits such as Ab-Soul, Isaiah Rashad, and Chance the Rapper. He released his proper debut album, Talk Back, in 2016, and has since issued full-length projects like 2024's Sleep Paralysis with frequent collaborators Hippie Sabotage, as well as singles like 2026's "Crooks & Castles."
