In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest memories of music come from the 1957 Seeburg jukebox my parents had in our basement. It had dozens of singles, mostly Beatles, and I listened to those songs non-stop until I knew every word and note. And now its a singles world again! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Amy Winehouse, Back to Black Lauryn Hill, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill Stevie Wonder, Innervisions Remastered We love the soul, artistry, and timelessness of every 70's Stevie Wonder record, and Innervisions was his most perfect of all. Amy Winehouse was a master of phrasing, reinventing old forms to make them new. And Ms Lauryn Hill is a genius, full stop. Tell us why you chose this song. “Perfect Kiss” Our song, Perfect Kiss, is near and dear to us because it brings so many of our musical elements together. Twisting changes, soaring vocals, big drums, sweet harmonies and a fractured love song all wrapped together in a delicious pop confection. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Opening for James Brown at Jam on the River in Philadelphia was an unforgettable moment for me. Getting to perform for tens of thousands of screaming people, watching the Godfather of Soul captivate the crowd, and our trailer was right next to his! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Besides world domination? To perform all over the world, to connect with the biggest and most fabulous audience, and to share the stage with our musical heroes at the great music festivals like Coachella and the Pyramid at Glastonbury!
