John Arpin

Another of the modern revivialists, pianist John Arpin's ragtime recreations are faithful and enjoyable. He navigates the tricky passages steadily, and gives the listener a good sense of ragtime's precision, feel and pace. His recordings are mostly solo, though he did do a quartet work Ragtime Piano in 1973. ~ Ron Wynn
