MARTY

Rapper Marty (aka Marty Mar) applies his love for golden age hip-hop and the likes of Mac Miller and Kid Cudi to insightful verses and hooks that often reflect his Christian faith. Beside fellow Broward County native Fern, Marty made a name for himself as one-half of the long-running Social Club Misfits. Just after SCM scored their second Billboard 200-charting album, Marty launched his solo career with Marty for President (2015), an EP that topped Billboard's Christian chart. A sequel saw release five years later, after Marty and Fern issued their Dove-winning Mood // Doom. Continuing to juggle duo and solo projects, Marty has since founded his own label, Apollo, home to EP-length projects such as Cult Classic, Vol. 1 (2026), as well as releases from developing talent.
