In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. In 10th grade, I won a songwriting contest through Carnegie Hall Music Institute where Dave Matthews Band was one of the judges. Six song writers from the United States got to travel to South Africa to perform at the Route 40 Music Festival. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Rotten To Its Core” This is the first song I've written that I feel I myself would listen to (and not cringe at hearing myself!). It also has a sneaky F-bomb in the middle that it that brings me joy :-)
