About Zach Aaron
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember riding around in my Dad's old 78' Chevy truck singing "Even Cowboy's Like a Little bit of Rock N' Roll" by Chris Ledoux What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Ben Bullington, Ben Bullington Eddy Arnold, Cattle Call Willie Nelson, Red Headed Stranger Cattle Call is one of the best compilations of old cowboy/ folk songs. Red Headed Stranger is a songwriting masterpiece. Ben Bullington is a little known songwriting gem. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Animal of Burden (Waco Cut)” I'm proud of this song because I believe that it captures the angst, anger and despair that many blue collar workers feel in their daily lives. I know I have felt it. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I played show in New York City for 3 people, made $14 and almost couldn't make it out of the city because I ran out of money. Full disclosure, I spent 4 of that $14 on beer. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I don't like bucket lists. I'm living my life the way that I want to live it until the day I die. Playing at The Ryman would be killer though.
