In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Being in the kitchen of the house I grew up in Ontario, Canada, while a snowstorm raged outside. Inside, it was warm — my mom, uncle, and auntie were cooking curry, calypso music was playing, and everyone was dancing. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Tell us why you chose this song. “Colombia” I usually write songs on guitar but this is the first song I ever wrote on piano. I wrote it all at once in a melodic freestyle at the same time as the chords and it's one of my favorite songs I've ever written.
