Amber Carrington

Lifelong Dolly Parton fan and Texas-based country-pop crooner/songwriter Amber Carrington traded in her hairbrush for a microphone at the age of ten, honing her chops at local rodeo and opry shows before making a strong impression on the 2013 season of The Voice. Auditioning with a powerful version of Carrie Underwood's "Good Girl," she was chosen by coach Adam Levine and went on to become a season favorite, though she ultimately lost to Danielle Bradbery. ~ James Christopher Monger
